Leganes coach Pellegrini admits trying for Real Madrid pair Llorente, Mayoral

Leganes coach Manuel Pellegrini admits he's tried to sign Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente.

Pellegrini says Real striker Borja Mayoral could also be on his way before the deadline falls tomorrow.

He said, "We have called Marcos Llorente but he does not want to come, we sent messages crazily, I imagine he has many possibilities and he wants to make it at Real Madrid."

On Mayoral, he added: "He's a possibility, I've talked to his agent to see what the possibility was, any player who leaves a big team like Madrid is always appealing to a lot of clubs.

"Arsene Wenger said once 'I do not wait for Madrid or Barça players', so imagine Leganes..."
