Leganes coach Asier Garitano was proud of his players after their Copa del Rey shock at Real Madrid.
Real were bundled out of the Copa last night after defeat at home in the second-leg.
While proud, Garitano insisted his team had enjoyed more important results: "No, I do not think it's the biggest.
"Going from Segunda B to the Segunda was the most important thing for this Leganés, then, from there, we try to improve every year, in the Copa we have already achieved it and now we will see if in LaLiga we improve what we did last year.
"We are sure that these victories reinforce us a lot."
Leganés were still on the Bernabéu pitch close to midnight, long after Real Madrid players and their fans had departed. There were a few hundred of the visiting supporters still in the stadium, joining them in celebration of reaching the Copa del Rey semi-final for the first time.
Garitano added: "To believe that this could happen, since the draw came out we thought it was possible.
"When the match ended in Butarque, we said that we could compete and make the players believe that it was possible. We had the success in front of goal, we were convinced that throughout the game we would have our chances."
