Lega Calcio President Antonio Matarrese has rapped Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho after his dismissal on Sunday.

"Someone among the Coaches must start to understand that we are in Italy," snapped Matarrese, who leads the 'union' of Serie A and B clubs.

"Mourinho is human too and when he makes a mistake, like all Italians, he has to pay. There is no immunity in Italian football.

"Nobody is 'special' in Serie A, everybody is on the same level here."
