Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino will reportedly attempt to lure World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro to Elland Road to be the club's new manager.
The Sun is reporting Cellino has been keeping tabs on his countryman's movements since Cannavaro parted ways with Saudi club Al-Nassr last month.
It is understood Cellino is on the verge of severing ties with current Leeds boss Steve Evans, who oversaw the club's 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Leeds currently sit in 13th place in the Championship, with Cellino's running of the club facing constant criticism from the club's fans.
