Leeds Utd eyeing Stoke midfielder Sidwell

Leeds United are planning a move for Stoke City outcast Steve Sidwell.

Sidwell joined Stoke from Fulham on a free transfer at the start of last season but the midfielder only managed to make five Premier League starts throughout the course of the campaign.

It is clear that Sidwell is currently surplus to requirements at Stoke and the midfielder is likely to be offloaded this summer.

According to the Stoke Sentinel, Sidwell is currently attracting interest from Championship side Leeds United and manager Uwe Rosler is keen on getting a deal done for the 32-year old after missing out on Joey Barton.
