Former Leeds United striker Noel Whelan has urged Manchester United striker Ashley Fletcher to move to Elland Road.
The 20-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford but has turned down an extension, says the Daily Star.
Fletcher, who impressed on loan at Barnsley last season, is set to be part of United's squad for their pre-season tour of the Far East.
Whelan wrote in the Yorkshire Evening Post: "As for Ashley Fletcher, he has turned down the contract offer at Manchester United and coming to Leeds should be a no-brainer.
"But Leeds have got show him that everything is in place and that the club is going in the right direction.
"You have got to really sell it to him, and get him over the line as quickly as possible."
