Leeds United have ended their relationship with manager Brian McDermott.
The 52-year old has been sacked as Whites boss just hours after Cagliari owner Massimo Cellino reportedly bought a 75 per cent stake in the club for £20million.
Former Reading boss McDermott arrived at Elland Road in April 2013, replacing Neil Warnock.
Leeds have dropped to 12th on the Championship table on the back of a seven-game winless streak.
