Leeds United defender Paul Connolly has joined Preston North End on loan.
The 29-year old will spend the next two-and-a-half months at Deepdale after failing to force his way into Neil Warnock's first team at Elland Road.
Connolly spent time with Portsmouth earlier this season but will now attempt to help the Lilywhites improve on their current standing of 16th on the League One table.
