Leeds snap up Wolves' Keogh on loan

Wolves striker Andy Keogh has joined Championship club Leeds United on loan until January.

The 25-year old Republic of Ireland international has found it tough to impose himself on Mick McCarthy's first team and subsequently has joined the Whites for the next four-and-a-half months but the deal could become permanent if he impresses Simon Grayson who was happy to have Keogh at Elland Road.

"Andy will strengthen our striking options," Grayson told the club's official website.

"He's got plenty of experience, having played a lot at this level and in the Premier League.

"He's also returning to the club where he started his career so he knows what it's like here and understands the place."
