Leeds United have completed the signing of talented Japanese defender Yosuke Ideguchi.
However, they are set to straightaway send him out on loan in order to gain more experience at the highest level.
It was reported in September that the Whites were looking to recruit a player from Asia and they have now agreed a fee of around £500 k to recruit Ideguchi from Gamba Osaka.
The 21-year-old is likely to be loaned out to Cultural Leonesa should he complete his medical at Elland Road next week.
The J-League finished last month so a loan deal will allow the player to acquire more first team experience and try and impress the Leeds hierarchy while at the same time get valuable game time ahead of the World Cup, where he is likely to be part of the Japan squad.
Ideguchi has scored two goals from 10 appearances for the Japan national team and is regarded as one of the nation's top young talents.
