Aston Villa defender Shane Lowry is set to sign with Leeds United on-loan to the end of the season.

The Villa reserve star's initial loan spell with the League One promotion chasers was cut short by a knee injury.

After moving to Elland Road in January, the Australian-born defender made six league appearances and also featured in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Now Lowry is set to help Simon Grayson's team in their final push for promotion to the Championship.
