Leeds United will offer a new contract to Australian midfielder Neil Kilkenny it has been reported.
Sky Sports understands that the Whites, who finished seventh on the English Championship table this season, have indicated that a fresh deal for the out-of-contract 25-year old is on the cards.
Kilkenny, who made 39 appearances in all competitions this term, has said he wants to remain at Elland Road but so far has been unable to agree a deal with the Yorkshire club.
Manager Simon Grayson has stated that the club is keen to start planning for next season as soon as possible and has Kilkenny in his promotion-chasing plans for next season.
