Leeds United are ready to sign Tottenham defender Steve Caulker.

The Mirror says Leeds are ready to seal a loan deal for Spurs centre-half Caulker - after settling a row over a six-figure 'rental' fee.

Boss Simon Grayson wants the England Under-19 starlet to join his team, but Tottenham were after £250,000 on top of his wages.

Caulker, 18, is now set to head north to get vital first-team experience after Leeds haggled for a lower loan fee.
