Leeds United midfielder Barry Bannan admits he grew up idolising players from bitter rivals Manchester United.
Bannan, on-loan from Aston Villa, admits he's modeled his game on Paul Scholes.
Bannan, 21, revealed: "My dad used to get me DVDs of the Manchester United team when Scholes and Beckham were breaking through.
"The one that stands out the most was Paul Scholes. I look up to him and was lucky enough a couple of games ago to play against United for Villa and I got his top.
"That's a big thing for me because in my eyes he's probably the best player in the world.
"Even now, even though he's old, he's still one of the best in the league."
