Leeds legend Radebe tells Blackburn striker McCarthy to drop kilos

Leeds United legend Lucas Radebe has told Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy he's too fat to get into South Africa's World Cup squad.

McCarthy as been warned by countryman Radebe that he is now too heavy for top level football.

Former Leeds skipper Radebe said: "Benni needs to shed a lot of weight.

"He must realise there is a World Cup and he's got to be fit."
