Leeds fullback Charlie Taylor agrees to join Burnley

Leeds United fullback Charlie Taylor is ready to join Burnley.

The Mirror says Taylor has agreed to join Burnley from Leeds on a Bosman.

Taylor, 23, met Sean Dyche last week and the Clarets boss has persuaded the defender to move to Turf Moor by assuring him he would play regularly.

Burnley will have to pay compensation to Leeds for Taylor, who made 104 league appearances for the Elland Road club since coming through their youth ranks.

Leeds will want up to £7million in compensation, but Burnley believe they could pick up the left-back for £4million if the clubs have to go to a tribunal.

Taylor's move is expected to be confirmed by Saturday when he will officially become a Burnley player.
