Leeds United must beat a crowded field to land Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner.

Leeds United must beat a crowded field to land Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner.

The Daily Mail says Leeds are considering a move to bring in Turner after the goalkeeper turned down the offer of a new contract from Everton.

Preston, Hull and Sheffield United are also interested in the Scot, who had grown frustrated by a lack of first team chances at Goodison Park.

Turner is likely to be replaced at Everton by Preston North End keeper Andy Lonergan.
