Leeds United have entered talks for Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch.
The Sun says Leeds have targeted the out of favour Palace star as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion this season.
They are hoping to persuade Palace to accept a cut-price deal of around £2million for the 25-year-old, who still has two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park.
Mutch has found himself out of favour under new manager Frank de Boer and is struggling to for his way into the first team squad.
So Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen is hoping to persuade the Premier League club to let him leave on the cheap before the end of the transfer window next week.
