Leeds defender O'Brien accepts Bolton career over

Leeds United defender Andy O'Brien accepts his future at parent club Bolton Wanderers is over.

The 31-year-old does not expect to be offered a new deal at the end of season, with manager Owen Coyle looking to trim the Reebok wage bill.

"I won't be surprised if they didn't offer me another contract," said O'Brien, pictured, who has made just three appearances for Wanderers this term.

"Although I feel I'm playing hard and well at Leeds, I don't think my progress here will have any bearing on my future at Bolton."
