Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson says a clash with Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the making of him.
Jansson, on-loan at Leeds from Torino, recalls facing Ibrahimovic, then with AC Milan, when playing for Malmo.
"For me, everything changed at that moment," Jansson said in a Facebook Q&A.
"It was a fifty-fifty tackle and we both gave everything we had in us. He remained lying on the ground; I got up. I thought: If I can do that against Zlatan, I can do it against anyone. It was an important moment for me and for my career.
"I have always liked Zlatan. As a child, I was a striker, like him, and while he was on the field, I was sitting in the stands at Malmö FF. Everyone loves Zlatan, certainly the people in Malmö. I've always looked up to him."
