Leeds confident securing Hotchkiss ahead of Arsenal

Leeds United hope they've seen off competition from Arsenal to sign 18 year-old midfielder Oliver Hotchkiss to a pro deal.

The People says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has tracked the goalscoring midfielder and hoped to land the 18-year-old before he signed a permanent deal.

But Leeds offered Hotchkiss a new deal and the signs are he will stay at Elland Road.

He has caught the eye by being top scorer in the club's youth team for the last two seasons despite not being a striker.
