Leeds United face competition for old boy Alan Smith.
The Newcastle United midfielder has declared he's prepared to leave this month in search of regular football - and nominated QPR as a club he'd welcome talks with.
However, the Daily Star Sunday says Leeds and Ipswich Town are chasing Smith for this month's market.
