Leeds chief Harvey insists no takeover approach from Lowy

Leeds United chief Shaun Harvey insists there's been no approach from Aussie billionaire Frank Lowy about a takeover.

Reports in Australia have suggested that Lowy, the billionaire chairman of the Football Federation of Australia, has commissioned a review into the state of the Elland Road outfit's finances.

But Harvey, who has served under current chairman Ken Bates since 2005, insists no talks have been held.

"We have not heard of any interest from Mr Lowy," Harvey told the Yorkshire Post, echoing a statement made by the FFA.
