Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has no regrets attacking fans opposed to his ownership.
Bates had branded fans who protested against his regime outside Elland Road following the 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough as "morons".
The 79-year-old has refused to apologise, though, believing he has no obligation to, as he believes he only gave as good as he got.
"People say I offended them - well, they've offended me. They can hand it out, but they can't take it," Bates told The Sunday Mirror.
"The moment you challenge them, they run for cover".
Bates believes some fans do not even know what they are protesting for, and is standing firm over his original stance.
"Fans only think of match to match," he said. "You get a few ringleaders. I looked out of the window [at the protest] and there were some kids laughing their heads off.
"They didn't know what it was about. Some fans say to me, 'I don't agree with what you're doing'.
"Well, I don't agree with what they're doing."
