Leeds boss Warnock: We don't need to sell Sunderland, Wigan target Becchio

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock insists there's no pressure to sell Luciano Becchio.

Wigan Athletic and Sunderland are chasing the want-away striker.

Warnock told talkSPORT: "We haven't got to sell him. He's got 18 months to go [on his contract]. Once the window closes, if he stays, I wouldn't have a problem with him, he'd just knuckle down.

"With the offers that are on the table at times behind the scenes it is tempting to put a transfer request in. Unless we get players in, which we're working hard to do, then he won't be going anywhere."
