Neil Warnock whilst disappointed that loanee Andros Townsend had opted to return to Tottenham, the new Leeds United boss only wants committed players at Elland Road.

Townsend was scheduled to stay in Yorkshire until the end of the season when he arrived at the turn of the year, but after seven appearances the 20-year-old has opted to leave the club.

Warnock said: "I've lost Townsend. His agent told me he didn't like it here, he wasn't happy and he hadn't settled.

"I've heard that Birmingham want to sign him, I don't know if that's got anything to do with it.

"I'm disappointed because we've lost a player, but if he doesn't want to be here good riddance I say if that's what he wants to do."
