Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has conceded that his side were simply not good enough to compete with Chelsea on Wednesday night.
The Whites were soundly beaten 5-1 by Rafael Benitez's Blues in the quarter-final of the Capital One Cup at Elland Road despite leading 1-0 at the break.
Leeds went ahead when Luciano Becchio struck in the 37th minute but second-half goals from Juan Mata, Branislav Ivanovic, Victor Moses, Eden Hazard and Fernando Torres fired the Blues into the semi-finals.
"But to concede as early as that (in the second half) against world-class players you're going to be in trouble," Warnock told Sky Sports 1 after his side led at the break.
"It was such a relief from them to get back into the game.
"Then they took over and were too good for us."
