Leeds boss Grayson calm over injury situation

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is remaining calm over the situation he faces with injuries to key players.

The Whites boss is confident he can overcome recent injuries to winger Robert Snodgrass and defender Leigh Bromby for the top of the table League One clash with Charlton Athletic at Elland Road.

"It's not ideal that so many players are going down injured but that's part and parcel of football," Grayson said.

"These periods always come along and sometimes you seem to get an area of the pitch which is highlighted - at the moment it's our defence, and we've got a few injuries there.

"But that's why we've got a decent squad and some good players who haven't been playing.

"Also, if we need to then we can go into the loan market and get replacements in that way.

"It's a concern and obviously we're trying to resolve it," Grayson added in regards to an injury list that is keeping as many as six senior players out of the line-up.

"But I've still got players who can come into the team and a squad of this size avoids complications when players do get injured."
