Leeds United will surely re-ignite their interest in Cardiff City striker Wayne Feeney.
The Northern Ireland international is to be released by the Bluebirds in January which gives Leeds boss Simon Grayson another chance to go for the man he pursued during summer.
Feeney's potential move to Elland Road ended when he was recovering slowly from a hip injury but now fully fit, is keen to get the first team action he is not experiencing in Wales.
The 28-year old has had two loan spells since he joined Cardiff in 2007, one with Welsh rivals Swansea City and the other with Scottish outfit Dundee United which occurred last season and will be looking to make his home at a new club where is he is guaranteed regular game time.
