Swansea City are losing ground on Leeds United in the battle for Getafe striker Emiliano Buendia.

Marca says the 20-year-old, who is owned by Getafe but is currently on loan at Cultural Leonesa, has been mentioned as a possible Swansea target since January.

However, Leeds are now regarded as favourites to sign the Argentine.

Buendia's loan deal runs until the end of the season - but interestingly, Leonesa have a working agreement with the Elland Road outfit in terms of developing young talent.
