Lee Young-pyo understands how important tomorrow night's Korean derby is in regards to qualifying for the World Cup. The South Korean star is hopeful of a win for his nation against neighbours Korea DPR at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and knows how important three points will be to reaching their ultimate goal of qualifying for South Africa 2010.

"We need to win this game for the sake of qualification for the 2010 World Cup," he told reporters.

"North Korea are a good team and play with real passion but if we play well then we can take the three points."

South Korea are second in their group with eight points from four matches whilst Korea DPR are on top of the group with ten points from five matches.

Saudi Arabia are just one point behind South Korea so points for either side are vital.
