Lee unhappy with Bolton quit questions

Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee insists he's happy in his job.

Lee's side had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Rabotnicki Kometal in a first round, first leg match, Abdoulaye Meite getting the equaliser with seven minutes to go.

Lee was rattled by a Macedonian journalist asking him whether he was going to resign.

"I did not like that question," he admitted. "I have lots of belief in my own ability and that of my team.

"I am a fighter and working hard to turn things around. I have very high standards and a great passion for the game.

"I have always wanted to be the best I can as a player, as a coach and as a manager.

"I feel the players share my passion and commitment to the club. It is just a question of confidence at the moment."
