The News of the World says while some of Benitez's backroom team followed him out the door, Liverpool are not wielding the axe to all of them.

Assistant manager Sammy Lee has been offered the chance to stay and Benitez's recent appointments at the academy won't be affected, which is expected to include Frank McParland and Rodolfo Borrell.
