Rob Lee expects former Newcastle United teammate Alan Shearer to soon return to management.

The former Toon manager was linked with the Blackburn Rovers job before Henning Berg's appointment last week.

Lee told the Evening Chronicle: "He'll get a job soon, I'm pretty sure of that.

"He is open to go back into management - it's something I think he wants to have a go at."
