Bolton's hopes of remaining in the Premier League were boosted today with news that Lee Chung-yong was back training with the first team.
The South Korea international has been sidelined all campaign after badly breaking his leg during pre-season but may be able to get back on the pitch in the remaining six matches as the Trotters look to climb out of the relegation zone.
"We'd love to have him involved but the most important thing is, in terms of the long term, we don't do anything detrimental. He's worked hard to get himself to the level he is now and he's going to be a very special player.""I'm hoping tomorrow and Saturday he'll be able to train with the reserves. If he comes through that without any reaction then hopefully he can join my group next week and start to step up his training from there," said manager Owen Coyle who may choose to tread a cautious path with the winger.
