Lecce management are delighted with the progress made under new coach Mario Beretta.
"The club made the choice to put a lot of faith in Beretta this summer," sports chief Guido Angelozzi told Sky Sport Italia. "Now we hope that we have a long and fruitful relationship with him because he has the full faith of the players.
"He has a two-year contract but I hope that we will agree a renewal in due time. He really is doing a great job.
"We are happy with the start to the campaign and we have a large squad so if players ask to leave in January we could enter the market, but it's too early to talk about that."
