Le Tissier suggests Man Utd lacked quality in PSV draw

Sky Sports football pundit Matt Le Tissier believes that Manchester United were devoid of quality in their attacking play in the draw against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday night.

The goalless draw was United's fourth in their last seven games and was met with boos from the Old Trafford crowd at the final whistle.

The result also left United's progress to the Champions League Round of 16 in doubt as they must now beat Wolfsburg in Germany in their final group stage fixture in early December.

Le Tissier said in Sky: "The amount of chances they created, the amount of shots on target, they had more than PSV but there just seemed to be a serious lack of quality in terms of creating anything, certainly in the second half.

"The first half they weren't bad, they had spells there and created some chances but in the second half they just seemed to run out of ideas and looked like they ran out of energy at the end."
