Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier has questioned David Moyes' deal at West Ham.

Le Tissier wonders why Moyes has only a three-month contract.

"I do not understand why West Ham have given David Moyes a six-month contract," the former Southampton playmaker told Sky Sports.

"Why would you do that? The players will be looking at that and thinking the owners obviously do not have that much confidence in him.

"It does not help the manager and why not give him a three-year contract, but have a clause in it saying, 'if you do get sacked, you will only get paid half the money'?"
