Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier believes Everton pair Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines would turn Manchester United into title favourites.Everton have confirmed they've rejected a £28 million offer from United for the duo.
Le Tissier told talkSPORT: "I think that [bid] is a bit shy of what the pair of them are worth. But when clubs are trying to buy players they want to get them as cheaply as they can and they don't go straight in with their best offer.
"I suspect they will gradually edge it up until they reach a compromise, and that's what may well happen.
"They would be a great addition to the United squad. There's been a lot of talk that United are not favourites this year but those two signings would change quite a few people's minds."
