Former Chelsea fullback Graeme Le Saux believes Nemanja Matic's suspension for the Capital One Cup final can be covered.
Chelsea meet Tottenham tomorrow at Wembley.
He said: "Since he [Matic] came back to Chelsea his impact has been immense because he offers a different dimension to that team like no other player. Part of Chelsea's incredible defensive record is down to the shield he provides. Obviously he'll be missed but I don't think it puts them at a particular disadvantage for the game on Sunday.
"They can approach the Spurs game in a different way because man for man the Chelsea players are better than the Spurs players now that doesn't mean that Chelsea are going to win but I think that if you put [Eden] Hazard, Oscar, Willian if he plays, and [Diego] Costa with the passing of [Cesc] Fabregas if you put those up against the vulnerable Spurs back four then Jose will be able to exploit that and try to kill off the game early on."
