Sunderland and Le Havre have reportedly agreed a fee for Benjamin Mendy according to Sky Sports.
The 18-year old defender will now hold talks with the Black Cats regarding a summer shift to the Stadium of Light.
Left-back Mendy, who has represented France at many youth levels, is being valued at around £5million.
He has been courted by Marseille and Lyon and previously attracted interest from Arsenal and Cardiff City buit it appears as though he will head to Sunderland very soon.
