Benjamin Mendy is believed to be close to a summer move to Sunderland.
The 18-year old Le Havre left-back has been linked with Arsenal but it has been widely reported that the Black Cats have won the race for his services.
Mendy is looking to take the next step in his career and it looks as though he will be heading to the Stadium of Light as Paolo Di Canio looks for a quality left full-back following the end of Danny Rose's loan.
