Le Guen irritated by poor Cameroon performance

Cameroon boss Paul Le Guen was upset by the performance of his side in their shock 1-0 loss to Japan.

The Indomitable Lions went down because of a Keisuke Honda goal six minutes before half-time and despite throwing everything they had at the Blue Samurai in the final 20 minutes, could not grab an equaliser.

Le Guen admitted he was upset by the result and said that the attitude of his players was not up to scratch.

"Of course I am upset that we have lost the game but our attitude was wrong," he said.

"We were tense and nervous, especially in the first half. We did not show what we are capable of. We were not at our level and kept losing possession.

"My players were wrongly positioned."
