Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma is ready for a big performance against AS Roma.

Ledesma tries to explain the feeling of playing in the Rome derby.

"You forget all the rest and the table doesn't count."

The Lazio midfielder is fired up for this weekend's Derby della Capitale against arch rivals Roma.

"Stepping on to the field in a derby is a unique emotion," he told Sky Sport Italia. "You forget all the rest and the table doesn't count, nor does everything that has happened that season.

"Something clicks in your brain that pushes you to give your all and even more when you go behind.

"When you know that on Sunday the derby will be played, everything that surrounds you seems to matter so much less."
