Lazio striker Simone Inzaghi insists his goal celebration against Lecce had nothing to do with coach Delio Rossi.

Inzaghi came back from being frozen out of preseason training to hit a crucial equaliser for Lazio on the weekend and he said: "I have not insulted Delio Rossi, I was celebrating for my people.

"It's a case that does not exist, people want to ruin this most beautiful moment.

"When I was out, I had supporters who would call me. We're a good team and my brother Pippo (of AC Milan) always supports me."
