Bayer Leverkusen striker Theofanis Gekas is a January target for Lazio.

Lazio coach Davide Ballardini has told president Claudio Lotito they need a new striker for the January market, particularly with Goran Pandev on the outer.

Former Portsmouth forward Gekas is tied to Bayer until 2011 and available for around £2 million.
