Lazio striker Mauro Zarate insists he doesn't have to adjust his game to succeed this season.
Zarate hit the winner against Chievo Verona on the weekend.
When asked if he should change his style of play, Zarate replied: “I don't think so. It's true that before I never passed the ball, but I never pass it now either.
“The problem is that in the second year I did the same moves as in the first with the difference that they didn't come off.
“I am the same person and I am trying to do the same things. It's a question of confidence. In the first year I could take on anyone and go past them. This year I feel happy and I prepared well.”
Finally Zarate put paid to suggestions that he intends to play for Italy.
“The Azzurri have many strikers,” he said. “I would like to play for Argentina.”
