Vignaroli is currently a free agent after leaving Greek side Panthrakikos.
Kilmarnock boss Jim Jefferies is keen to assess Vignaroli in training to determine whether the 32-year-old merits a chance at Rugby Park.
"Stefano is the source we got Manuel Pascali from," said Jefferies in the Daily Record.
"Fabio has good pedigree and good experience. We'll have a look at him in training this week.
"There's no point bringing in someone of his quality if he's not going to play every week and right now we have players in that position who are doing extremely well.
"So we'll see how he does and if there's a situation where he could do a job for us."
