Manchester United are set to snap up Lazio starlet Danilo Cataldi.

Cataldi is set to fly to Manchester to sign for United - according to calciomercato.com.

The Lazio midfielder, 17, is tipped to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Federico Macheda and Davide Petrucci by quitting Rome to head for England.

Manchester City are also admirers of the teenager but it's claimed the Reds will win the chase for his signature - although his agent Roberto De Fanti has since played down the report.
