Lazio have snapped up Reggina striker Nicola Amoruso.

"We have reached a financial agreement with Lazio and were are both satisfied with the deal," Reggina president Lillo Foti declared.

"Lazio have made a big swoop by signing Amoruso and they have given me the difficult task of replacing him.

"I had to let him go because he wanted to move to a big club like Lazio so that he can end his career there."
